Here’s a quick Patch Notes update with some of the improvements we have shipped in April focused on bug fixing and quality-of-life. We know there are bigger conversations happening around core issues on FACEIT — and we haven’t lost sight of them. In particular for servers, we received over 900 responses to our recent survey in our post earlier this month and have been actively working through the feedback many of you shared with us recently. We have added a server report button on the match page to make it easier for you to tell us when things are going wrong, but in the meantime, we also want to keep the momentum on the smaller fixes that improve your day-to-day experience.
Here’s what’s new in April:
Since adding our Elo widget and pushing more updates to the FACEIT Mobile app, more and more players have been checking in on their performance on their phone. Whether you’re bored on the bus or just wanting to browse while dead in-game, we want to give your phones more functionality and utility. This month, our mobile app now has its own dedicated Track section, a lite model of the desktop version. Now you can check which map you’re strongest on, fact-check your friend about who dealt more damage last match, and more!

Our platform is open to support the community: from playing in matchmaking secured by our Anti-Cheat, to empowering communities to create a space to meet their ideal teammates. We’ve built tools like Clubs to help develop community projects, with successes like The Mongolz’s star players each starting in a local Club, or developing communities like TCL, where Turkish players can come together and find like-minded competitors with no language barrier.
However, by opening functionality to external organisers, impersonators and scammers can try to take advantage of players and steal their skins.
We have been cracking down on these accounts with investigations, bans and proactively trying to protect players by automatically highlighting when a link is directing you away from FACEIT. However, scammers evolved and were trying to use QR codes to get around our warnings. We’re committed to protecting you from malicious behaviour and we’ve recently blocked accounts from posting QR codes unless they are marked as trusted.

If you need help running your events or have a legitimate case for posting QR codes on FACEIT, please contact [email protected] by email and we see what we can do to support you. If you see any suspicious behaviour or believe an account is trying to scam other players, please report them here so we can swiftly ban them and prevent them from scamming other players.
Your profile is part of how you show up on FACEIT — a reflection of the time, focus, and grind you put into every match. Now you can shift your profile into overdrive with our new limited edition Digital Overdrive Collection — now available in the Shop. Inspired by neon lights and digital motion, think purples, blues and reds, this set features 6 striking animated profile cards and 3 sleek animated avatar frames. Thanks for checking out our improvements in our April Patch Notes! We’re looking forward to bringing you more updates soon as we continue to tweak, fix, and update FACEIT to help you reach your CS2 goals: whether that’s just enjoying a more competitive match, or grinding to dethrone donk and make a name for yourself in the professional scene!
