Hello FACEIT League players!
When we started FACEIT League Season 6, the connection to OWCS was still undefined. We recognize how this uncertainty impacted our NA and EMEA Master Division teams, and today we confirm that Season 6 teams will not have a direct connection to OWCS. However, we’re excited to share that this connection will be re-established for Season 7 (more details to be shared soon), and that we’ve prepared something special for our top Season 6 Master Division teams.
We wanted to create something truly special for our Master Division teams, an opportunity that goes beyond compensation and delivers unmatched visibility. Today, we’re proud to unveil the Masters Showdown, an exclusive tournament for the top 2 teams from NA and EMEA in Season 6. Here’s how it works: The 1st and 2nd place teams from EMEA and NA in the Season 6 playoffs will compete in a FT3 online series. The semi-finals will be community-cast, while the finals will be recorded and premiere during the OWCS Finals at DreamHack Stockholm, placing these teams in the spotlight before hundreds of thousands of viewers! In addition to this exceptional opportunity, the winning players will receive a medal, symbolizing their status as the world’s best Master Division team!
We can’t wait to invite our EMEA and NA champions to this exceptional event, where the best 2025 FACEIT League team will be crowned! In the meantime, tune in to our featured co-streamers to watch the Master Division playoffs and follow the teams journey to the Masters Showdown!
