FACEIT December 2025 Patch Notes: Post Season 7 incremental improvements including tuning, bug fixes, UI clarity, more

These patch notes are here to help you track minor fixes and small improvements that came from your bug reports and feedback. For recent larger updates, visit our Matchmaking & Integrity Release, Season 7 release or our ESEA VRS update.

The TPM UI error message flow was updated to ensure feedback is clearer, as users were previously seeing “TPM Attestation not ready” or “TPM enabled” messages that appeared to conflict.
The new TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot hardware requirements deadline has now passed and any users not compliant are unable to join matchmaking until compliance, to strengthen system-level security and maintain a trusted competitive environment.

Fixed a bug where parental consent was not being recognised when granted.
Fixed a case where players were not shown the parental consent modal when required.
Fixed incorrect formatting on the FACE Recheck Started screen where non-clickable text resembled a URL.
Fixed an issue where the “attempts left” counter did not decrement after verification retries.

Updated North America matchmaking configuration settings to address post-release peak queue time increases of up to 100% to return timings back to normal.
Updated the match cards and modals pop-ups for clearer information.
Fixed Season 6 badge images that previously appeared blurry or unclear.
Improvement of the skill shown in streamer mode to completely hide the streamer identity

Updated language settings for Parties so the language list now only shows options relevant to your region.
Language settings now follow your browser and region so a default language is automatically selected when creating a party (can be changed).
Party Captains must now have FACEIT Anti-Cheat running before posting a party.
Fixed cases where party updates would not appear without refreshing.
Moved Parties to new chat infrastructure to reduce stability issues.

Removed teams outside your region or outside your eligibility requirements from search results.
Updated team preview information to show, at a glance, the average skill level and the specific group a team is signed up for.
Fixed load-time delays, unexpected content shifts where with new teams posting/ player joins, the teams on the page were shifting around unexpectedly.
Fixed filter-setup bugs where setting up some filters didn't actually filter the list for teams.

Three new seasonal daily missions will run 24 December–1 January in all regions except Russia, which will run 1–8 January for both free and Premium players.
